GoldenEye Online Previous Updates and News:

November 2008 - Kaillera is currently experiencing problems. When you launch kaillera from Mupen and try to update the master server list, you will get zero listings. If you go to emulinker.org and click on servers, you will find zero servers. This is a big problem! The servers exist to play on, but how can you or new players find them? Good question. I don't have answers for that right now. I don't know the status of Kaillera and how long this problem will remain. I strongly urge you to use visit the live chat here and also look for games on this server: 69.90.34.14:27888. Yes, it's mainly a super smash brothers server, but just start your game room and wait. We will come!! I'll keep you updated on what exactly the issues with Kaillera are when I find the answers!!

August 2008 - Big news! Wreck, the GoldenEye multiplayer level creator/genius has struck again! Wreck's 007 GoldenEye N64Multi Pack A has been released. This will be the most popular version of 007 GoldenEye online I can guarantee it! Play the multiplayer levels Temple*, Complex*, Caves*, Library*, Facility backzone, The Quad, Bunker i, Archives backzone, Silo Topzone (early beta!)**, Caverns frontzone, and Aztec Ruins. Get the Normal version (default weapons and settings) or the NGPA version (custom weapon sets and official settings) patches here! View the readme for Wreck's Muli Pack here.  May 2008 - Video tutorial for adding servers and playing GoldenEye online. Grab this Kaillera because it has the p2p capabilities (p2p kaillera guide here) and I'm using this one in the video tutorial. Simply unzip this one in your Mupen main folder and overwrite the original kailleraclient.dll when prompted. A bit of a test, but check it out.

January 2008 - I've added a GoldenEye Online Tournament Section! Register for future tournaments here! A short editorial here. Read the HOW TO APPLY AN IPS PATCH TO YOUR GOLDENEYE ROM tutorial. Learn how to start playing the newly released multiplayer levels like citadel, G5, Car Park, Train, Dam, Block Fort and many many others! To play these levels online, you need to apply the IPS Patch for the level(s) you want to play. The IPS patch is a file that simply adds the new multiplayer level information onto your game!

September 2007 - Important note about input plugin setting "Raw Data" here. You need to ensure that the "Raw Data" box is UNCHECKED otherwise you will get desynch. A super duper fast online gameplay option for 2 player games only. It's p2p and you must use this! Check it out here. It's very simple to setup, but if you want to host games, then you are going to have to fiddle with your router and firewall settings. This took me some time to get, but it is well worth the effort. Distances between players are minimized from a lag perspective and both players share the same ping. For the ultimate online perfomance, use it!

June 2007 - Yes for the first time in history, you can now play GoldenEye online. It is glitch free and you simply will be amazed at how good it performs.
